Duora Z-Strike: Geoffrey's review
The Duora Z-Strike is a cult racket, and one of a kind: it has two different faces. One face for the forehand, one face for the backhand.
How does it work?
On the forehand side, the frame is box-shaped: it is more stable and provides power for your smashes and clears. On the backhand side, the frame is aerodynamic: it cuts through the air so your backhands and defensive shots come off faster. You essentially have two rackets in one.
What you'll feel
It is very stiff with an even balance: precise, fast, and formidable in both attack and defense, provided you have good technique. It is in 3U (88g): being heavier, it gains power and stability, but it is harder to play with than a 4U.
Who is it for?
Expert players and competitors with an attacking profile, and collectors who want a unique Yonex.
My advice
High tension, starting from 11.5 kg, with a BG80 to maintain all its precision.
You choose your string, your tension, the color of your overgrip, and even your name on the shaft directly above: I will prepare it in the workshop and it will ship ready to play.
