Collection: Yonex strings

The stringing is the part of the racket that actually touches the shuttlecock. Along with tension, it completely changes your feel. Here is how to choose.

Thin or thick?

The thinner a string is, the more power, feel, and crisp sound it provides, but the less durable it is. The thicker it is, the stronger and more durable it is, with a softer feel. If you break strings often, increase the thickness; if you are looking for feel, decrease it.

Which string is for you?

  • BG65 (0.70 mm): the great classic, ultra-durable. Perfect for beginners, for clubs, and for those who break strings often.
  • BG65 Titanium (0.70 mm): the durability of the BG65 with a slightly crisper feel and more bite.
  • BG80 (0.68 mm): crisp and powerful feel, a sharp sound. The favorite of attacking players.
  • BG66 Ultimax (0.65 mm): thin, fast, and precise, for maximum feel.
  • Exbolt 63, 65, and 68: the series focused on repulsion speed. The 63 is the thinnest and snappiest, the 65 is the best compromise, and the 68 lasts the longest.
  • Aerobite and Aerobite Boost: hybrid strings (different mains and crosses) for shuttlecock grip, spin, and net control.

And the tension?

Lower tension (9 to 10 kg) provides easy power and comfort: ideal for beginners. Higher tension (11.5 kg and up) provides precision and control, but requires a clean strike. Most club players fall somewhere in between.

You can order your string alone, or have it installed at the 100%BAD workshop at the tension of your choice when you customize your racket.
