Astrox 99 Tour Green: Geoffrey's review
The Astrox 99 Tour is a more accessible version of the Astrox 99 Pro, without losing its character as an attacking racket.
What you will feel
A true smasher's racket: stiff, head-heavy, with weight behind the strike and plunging trajectories. Compared to the Pro, it is a bit more forgiving when you don't hit the shuttle perfectly, and that is noticeable at the end of a match.
For whom?
Advanced and expert players with an offensive game who want to experience the power of the Astrox 99. It is also a very good choice if you play in regional competitions and want an attacking racket at a reasonable price. 4U weight (83 g).
My advice
Between 11 and 12 kg with an Exbolt 65 or a BG80. Think about the overgrip: with a head-heavy racket, a good grip changes everything.
You choose your string, your tension, the color of your overgrip, and even your name on the shaft directly above: I prepare it in the workshop and it leaves ready to play.
