Astrox 77 Play: Geoffrey's review
Are you a beginner, but your favorite thing to do is smash? The Astrox 77 Play is made for you. It has the style of the Astrox 77 and gives you power very easily.
What you will feel
It is flexible and head-heavy: the weight in the head helps you hit hard, and the flexibility of the shaft creates a spring effect that sends the shuttlecock far. Even without perfect technique, your clears will reach the backcourt and your smashes will have plenty of punch.
Who is it for?
Beginners and recreational players with an attacking profile, teenagers starting out in a club, or players who want a serious first Yonex racket without breaking the bank. 4U weight (83 g).
My advice
Keep the tension between 9 and 10 kg: that is where it is easiest to play with. A BG65 is perfect, and a colored overgrip is great to personalize it.
You choose your string, your tension, the color of your overgrip, and even your name on the shaft right above: I prepare it in the workshop and it ships ready to play.
