Astrox 100 Game VA: Geoffrey's review
The Astrox 100 Game VA offers the look of the Astrox 100, in white and green, in a much more accessible version. It’s a racket I often recommend to players who want to play offensively but don't yet have the arm for a very stiff racket.
What you will feel
It is head-heavy, so your smashes and clears have weight behind them. And unlike the ZZ and Tour versions, its shaft is medium-stiff: it flexes a little on impact and helps you propel the shuttle. You get the feel of an attacking racket, without tiring out your arm.
Who is it for?
Developing players who love to attack, recreational players looking for easy power, and anyone who fell in love with the Astrox 100's design.
My advice
Between 10 and 11 kg, with a BG65 Titanium for durability or a BG80 if you want a crisper sound.
Choose your string, your tension, the color of your overgrip, and even have your name printed on the shaft directly above: I will prepare it in the workshop and it will ship ready to play.
